Collaboration
Why it matters

BAXX combines founder-led creative direction with real performance, studio, and collaboration experience across markets.

2017

BAXX founded with a clear focus on artist development and international positioning.

#1

Paska’s breakout single “Bina Boye” reached #1 on Trace TV in the Caribbean.

4

Core markets reflected across the platform: Haiti, East Africa, the U.S., and global audiences.

Built for long-term artist development, not one-off moments or isolated releases.

BAXX Africa

Building a real bridge between East Africa and the Caribbean through executed collaborations,
music creation, and the next generation of artist exchange.

Early proof of concept

“Your Body” — Paska x Kodong Klan

The first collaboration bridging Konpa and Gengetone — blending Haitian Creole, Swahili, and English into an accessible Afro-Caribbean sound.

Developed as an early proof of concept, the release demonstrated the creative potential of pairing artists across East Africa and the Caribbean and laid the foundation for a broader collaboration platform.

More than a single release, it showed that the musical connection is real — and that the right structure can turn that connection into lasting cross-market momentum.

Roots & Rhythm

An Afro-Caribbean writers camp by BAXX

Building on the first collaboration, BAXX is developing Roots & Rhythm — a writers camp in Kenya designed to bring together artists, producers, and writers from Haiti and East Africa for an intensive creative residency.

The goal is to create multiple records, capture the journey through compelling visual storytelling, and build a repeatable platform for cross-market collaboration, cultural exchange, and international release.

To unlock this next phase, BAXX is looking to work with the right partners.

Why partners work with BAXX

BAXX offers a multi-layered partnership platform spanning brand visibility, cultural exchange, media access, and early music industry opportunity.

Brand Partners

Integration into music videos, documentary content, and social storytelling with direct access to a culture-driven audience.

Cultural Partners

Participation in a high-impact cultural exchange initiative aligned with youth empowerment and creative industries.

Media & Distribution

Exclusive access to artist stories, documentary-style content, and a rare cross-continental narrative.

Music Industry

Early access to songs, artists, licensing opportunities, and an emerging cross-market sound segment.

“Haitian artists have always looked to the U.S. to break globally — but culture doesn’t always translate.
Africa, on the other hand, already understands the rhythm. That’s where the real bridge begins.”
